The leader of the Al Nusrah Front told the Islamic State of Iraq and the Sham that it had five days to stop attacking rebel and jihadist groups in Syria or they would jointly destroy ISIS in both Syria and Iraq. Al Nusrah also issued a statement of condolence for the death of Abu Khalid al Suri and blamed ISIS for his assassination. ISIS clashed with Al Nusrah and other jihadist groups in Aleppo. Regime forces, backed by NDF and Hezbollah fighters, advanced on rebel positions in Aleppo. Al Nusrah, rebels, and Islamic battalions clashed with regime forces in Quneitra, in Hama, and in Aleppo. ISIS reportedly arrested some of its fighters in Raqqah who had refused to fight against Al Nusrah and Islamic battalions. ISIS battled the Kurdish YPG in Hasakah.
