Thirty-six Iraqis were killed in a series of bombings and attacks throughout Iraq. In one attack, a suicide bomber killed 11 people at a funeral in Abu Ghraib. Thirteen Iraqis who were executed were also found. Security forces repelled an attack on a border outpost in Anbar; one insurgent was killed and two more were captured while attempting to enter Iraq.
