Thirteen Taliban fighters and five civilians were killed after a Taliban force attacked a tribal leader’s home in Badghis province. Two Taliban fighters were killed in Kandahar in a roadside bomb premature detonation. President Karzai said the US killed 16 civilians during a Jan. 24 battle in Laghman province.
