Afghan National Security Forces cleared Taliban forces from the towns of Karez deh Baba and Kajaki in Helmand province. A Taliban spokesman threatened to blow up cellular towers across Afghanistan if the signals are not turned off at night. The Taliban believes the US is using the signals to track its fighters.
