Baitullah Mehsud “agreed to take confidence-building measures before the release of soldiers held hostage,” and will let Pakistani troops to pass through Mehsud territory without being attacked. The North Waziristan Taliban beheaded a contractor for supplying food to the Pakistani army. The Taliban threatened to blow up tailor shops in Kohat if the owners do not adhere to shariah.
