NATO and Afghan forces killed 24 Taliban after being ambushed in Helmand province. Police in the northern province of Jowzjan killed 13 protesters that support General Abdul Rashid Dostum and wounded 35. Police in Khost captured Mujahid, al Qaeda commander, and Syed Gulab, a Taliban commander in Nangahar.


Palestinian Territories

The IDF received permission to widen ground operations against Palestinian terror groups in the Gaza strip. The IDF killed 2 Hamas operatives in a gun battle in central Gaza.
