Yesterday’s helicopter hard landing was due to enemy fire. The Iraqi Army captured two members of the Mahdi Army in Baghdad. A senior police chief in Baqubah was arrested for “involvement in the murder, torture, kidnapping and sectarian violence of Iraqi citizens in Diyala Province.” Three al Qaeda were killed and 11 captured during raids in Samarra and Taji.
