Unconfirmed reports, based on two anonymous Turkish sources, indicate that Turkey has moved forces across the Iraqi border to hunt the PKK. The US National Security Council spokesman said the Turkish government stated the reports of a large-scale cross-border incursion are incorrect. “We have checked all along the border and there hasn’t been any incursion or military operation inside Iraqi territory,” said Iraq’s Foreign Minister.
