The Al Nusrah Front and the Islamic Front battled regime forces in Latakia; and in Aleppo, where they were joined by the Jaysh al Muhajireen wal Ansar. Al Nusrah has cut off the water supply to both rebel and regime-held areas of Aleppo for the past week. Al Nusrah and the Islamic Front continued to clash with the Islamic State of Iraq and the Sham in Deir Izzour; over 100,000 residents of Reef Deir Izzour have fled since the clashes broke out on April 30. ISIS took over western Reef Deir Izzour; battled Islamic fighters and the Kurdish YPG in Raqqah; and shot down a regime helicopter in al Safira city in Aleppo.
