Suspected Muslim insurgents disguised as police officers killed five people and wounded three others at a fruit stall in Pattani’s Sai Buri district. The insurgents opened fire on customers and fruit vendors, killing four men and one woman and wounding three, including two children, before setting a truck ablaze and escaping towards Kapho district.
