The Taliban burned two US armored personnel carriers in Karachi that were destined for Afghanistan. Ten civilians were killed in a rocket attack on a politician’s home in Swat. The Taliban destroyed a police outpost, kidnapped two government workers, and bombed a girls’ school in Peshawar. The Taliban bombed a barber shop in Mardan.
