Saudi authorities stated they arrested over 200 members of al Qaeda cells during raids throughout the country over the past several months. The arrest of eight of the operatives “pre-empted an imminent attack on an oil installation.” Others arrested included foreign facilitators and members of support networks and a missile cell.
