At least 18 Islamic State fighters, including one Chinese, were killed and five armored personnel carriers were destroyed by Kurdish forces in northern Syria, where the IS took over three more Kurdish villages, in addition to the over 60 villages already seized in the area. The IS executed 11 Kurds near Ayn al Arab, including two boys, and two other people in Manbej. Bombardment by the Lebanese Army in the Qalamoun wastelands killed 11 fighters from the Islamic Front and the Al Nusrah Front. Eleven Syrian officers and soldiers held captive by Al Nusrah begged for a prisoner exchange. The Brigade of Fallojet Horan clashed with Al Nusrah in Deraa.
