Police are looking into the possible al Qaeda connections of two Malaysian jihadists, Mohammed Razin Shaaban and Rafik Mohammed Aaref, who were arrested in Beirut; they face a military court on Monday. After failing to enter Syria from Turkey they had gone to Lebanon to conduct an attack. Razin is said to be linked to Jamal al-Badawi, a key al Qaeda operative in Yemen.
