The Taliban fired their first heat-seeking anti-aircraft missile on a U.S. C-130 flying in southwestern Nimroz province. The SA-7 was believed to have been smuggled from Iran. A former Taliban member and tribal leaders are negotiating with the Taliban for the release of the 22 Korean hostages.
