A source close to Hezbollah said the group would likely retaliate against Israel and other targets if the West conducts a large-scale strike on Syria's government or military, but would probably not retaliate for limited strikes. The army disabled a grenade set to explode outside Tripoli's Al Taqwa mosque, which was targeted in a car bombing last week. A military prosecutor extended the detention of Sheikh Abdel-Razzak Hammoud and Sheikh Ahmad Gharib, suspects in the recent car bombings that killed at least 47 people near two mosques in Tripoli. Gharib reportedly confessed during interrogation that Syrian intelligence was behind the attacks.
