The Muslim Brotherhood rejected the constitutional declaration issued by interim President Mansour overnight. Unidentified gunmen attacked a security checkpoint near the Rafah border crossing, which will reopen on Wednesday. Gunmen also opened fire on a church in Port Said. An Israeli defense source warned that Sinai terrorists are planning attacks against Israelis in the Sinai, among other targets. Saudi Arabia plans to provide Egypt with a $5 billion aid package. Hazem El-Beblawi was appointed as the new Egyptian prime minister.
