Adly Mansour, Chief Justice of the Supreme Constitutional Court, was sworn in as the new president of Egypt. Authorities have reportedly issued some 300 arrest warrants for Muslim Brotherhood leaders. President Obama ordered a review of US aid to Egypt following Morsi's ouster. Four alleged Hamas members who were purportedly planning a terror attack were arrested in a Cairo suburb. The army continued to target smuggling tunnels between Egypt and Gaza. A security officer was critically injured after being shot at by unidentified gunmen in the Sinai. Israeli officials expressed concern that jihadists may try to use the unstability in Egypt to carry out an attack against Israel.
