Mikael Davud, one of three accused of plotting terrorist acts, told the court he had asked al Qaeda in Iran for training but was trained by an unnamed group. Prosecutors plan to show he trained at an al Qaeda camp in Pakistan. The accused may avoid conviction of conspiracy by maintaining they did not collaborate on actual terror plans.
