A Boko Haram assault team attacked a police station in Gobi with bombs and gunfire, killing four policemen and a soldier. The militants then stormed into two local banks, shot seven bank workers dead, wounded four more, and fled with money stolen from the banks. Other banks in the region have also been targeted in recent complex attacks.
