The U.S. said Osama bin Laden is in Pakistan, but Pakistan said no foreign forces are allowed to conduct operations in the tribal areas. Twenty Taliban fighters were killed and 10 soldiers wounded during clashes in North Waziristan over the weekend. The Taliban want military check points dismantled before "peace talks" continue. Swat's ulema declared attacks on governemnt troops un-Islamic, but called for troops to withdraw. Renovation of the Red Mosque may be completed by Friday, while demolition of the Jamia Hafsa has begun.
