Blind Sheikh’s son killed in US airstrike in Afghanistan
Ahmed Omar Abdul Rahman, the son of the spiritual leader of the Egyptian Islamic Group, was killed today, according to the terror group.

The Egyptian Islamic Group announced that Ahmed Omar Abdul Rahman was killed in a US airstrike while “on the frontlines in Afghanistan.” Ahmed is the son of Sheikh Omar Abdul Rahman, or the Blind Sheikh, who is currently serving a life sentence in a US federal prison for his role in 1993 bombing at the World Trade Center.
