Jyllands-Posten, a Danish newspaper that was attacked by terrorists in 2005, said that security concerns prevent it from republishing cartoons from Charlie Hebdo, the French satirical magazine that was attacked in Paris this week. The Parliament is considering closing the Grimhøj mosque in Aarhus, after a recent documentary showed its congregation praising the Islamic State and denouncing democracy.

An official with Denmark’s NEC agency, which monitors gang activity, warned that radicalism is on the rise among gang members. Mohammad Rafiq, head of the International Institute of Human Rights, said immigrant gangs in several parts of Denmark are forcing people to conform to sharia law. The Defense Ministry announced that Danish soldiers have begun working with British troops in the training of Kurdish and Iraqi forces in Iraq.

The defense ministry reported that Danish forces have flown 13 missions and launched 18 bombs against the Islamic State in Iraq since Nov. 17. Official reports indicate that Danish police have received have received 51 bomb threats since summer 2013, an average of one every 10 days.
