A suicide bomber killed more than 30 Pakistanis in an attack on a Shia procession in Karachi. Fifteen Taliban fighters and two soldiers were killed in clashes in South Waziristan. Nine tribal fighters, including a tribal leader, and six Taliban fighters were killed in clashes in Arakzai. The Taliban destroyed five NATO supply trailers in Khuzdar and Mangochar, and bombed a girl’s school in Shabqadar.
