The Al Nusrah Front and the Islamic Front battled regime forces in Reef Dimashq and in Latakia. Jaysh al Muhajireen wal Ansar, composed mainly of non-Syrians, fought alongside Al Nusrah in Aleppo. The Islamic Front clashed with regime forces in Homs, which rebels are trying to hold; Aleppo; Reef Dimashq; Damascus, where they set off a car bomb near a mosque; Idlib, Deir Izzour; Hama; and Deraa. The al-Battar Battalion said another German jihadist, not rapper Denis Cuspert, was killed recently in Hasakah. Al Nusrah killed 16 Islamic State of Iraq and the Sham fighters, including some commanders, in two suicide bombings yesterday in Ghariba in Deir Izzour. Two Austrian teenage girls are said to have traveled to Syria for jihad.
