The Foreign Ministry denounced the US' closure of Syria's Embassy and consulates. The first UN aid convoy from Turkey crossed into Syria for Qamishli. The OPCW said Syria has shipped nearly half of its chemical weapons out of the country for destruction, including all of its mustard gas. Many civilians were injured when the Al Nusrah Front and the Islamic Front battled regime forces near the entrance to the Yarmouk refugee camp while food aid was being distributed. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Sham continued to clash with the Islamic Front in Hasakah. Regime forces took over Qalamoun in Reef Dimashq after battling Al Nusrah, ISIS, and the Islamic Front. In Deraa, the Islamic Front and some FSA fighters seized the Gharz prison after two months of battle. In Aleppo, Al Nusrah, the Islamic Front, and rebels clashed with regime forces; and Kurdish, Islamic Front, and rebel forces killed several ISIS fighters.
