Taking out an IED cell in Zabul, Afghanistan

International Security Assistance Force personnel work to counter the threat of Improvised Explosive Devices (IED). Watch as an Attack Weapons Team of helicopters assigned to the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade of Task Force Pegasus observes and engages two IED cell members placing an IED Aug. 5 along a road in southern Zabul province, Afghanistan. The team observes the cell members for at least six minutes and ensures they are indeed planting an IED before opening fire and killing them.
