Lockerbie bomber returns to hero's welcome in Libya

Lockerbie bombing convict Abdel Basset al Megrahi was treated as a returning hero in Libya after being released from a Scottish prison on compassionate grounds. Megrahi has been diagnosed with cancer and has been given three months to live. Megrahi, a former Libyan intelligence officer, is responsible for the murder of 270 civilians after bombing Pan Am Flight 103 in 1988.
