Saleh on 60 Minutes

Former Afghan intelligence chief Amrullah Saleh speaks to Lara Logan of CBS' "60 Minutes" about Pakistani complicity in sheltering Osama bin Laden and Taliban leaders.

"The amount of pain Pakistan has inflicted on the United States in the past 12 years is unprecedented," claims Saleh. "They take your money. They do not cooperate. They created the Taliban. They are number one in nuclear proliferation. You name it, every pain [the] US has in that part of the world, the hub of that is Pakistan."

"The surge [in Afghanistan] is not addressing the fundamental question: what do you do about sanctuaries in Pakistan?" Saleh continued.
