Abubakar Shekau claimed responsibility for the Dec. 2 Boko Haram attack on Maiduguri. At least 25 Boko Haram fighters were killed yesterday near the Maiduguri-Damboa-Biu highway; an unconfirmed report stated that six Boko Haram fighters were arrested in connection to the attack.
