UK convincts three Muslims for terror activities

A court in London has convicted three men of plotting to murder thousands of people by blowing up seven transatlantic airplanes. The men were accused of planning to smuggle liquid explosives disguised as soft drinks on board the aircraft. Authorities say that the accused were just days away from carrying out their plan before being arrested in August of 2006.
