Coalition airstrikes have halted most of the oil production in Deir Izzour, a source of Islamic State income, and a coalition airstrike today killed a senior IS official near Deir Izzour city. Coalition airstrikes also targeted an IS headquarters in Menbej city in Aleppo, as well as IS camps, checkpoints, and facilities in Raqqah. Some 73 fighters joined the IS in Aleppo over the past few days. Kurdish YPG forces continued to clash with the IS in Aleppo. Hundreds of Kurds broke through Turkish border fences to re-enter Syria to defend their homes in Aleppo province. The Al Nusrah Front and the Islamic Front battled regime forces in Damascus near Jobar and in Reef Dimashq. Civilians living near forces of the Islamic State, Al Nusrah Front, and Ahrar al Sham in Deir Izzour, Hasakah, Aleppo, and Raqqah are evacuating their homes.
