Col. Abdel-Jabbar Ukaidi, the head of the Free Syrian Army's Aleppo Revolutionary Military Council, resigned due to a lack of unity within the opposition. The Syrian National Coalition president said the SNC would not attend Geneva talks unless they provide for President Assad to leave office. Kurdish YPG forces clashed with the Islamic State of Iraq and the Sham and allies in Hasakah and took over three villages. ISIS continued to clash with the Shuhada' Bader battalion in Aleppo.
