Ansar Jerusalem claimed responsibility for the recent shooting attack on a national security officer in Cairo. The Salafi jihadist group also released a video about its October attack on the South Sinai Security Directorate. A car bombing in North Sinai killed at least 11 Egyptian security personnel, and four security personnel were wounded in an attack in Cairo. President Mansour announced a three-day mourning period for those killed.
