Secretary of State Clinton warned Syria that any use of chemical weapons would constitute a "red line" triggering US action. She did not comment on new intelligence suggesting activity at Syrian chemical weapons sites. A senior defense official said the activity did not seem to indicate anything imminent beyond moving of weapons components.
