We keep hearing that the Taliban is merely a nationalist insurgency seeking only to reinstall itself in power in Afghanistan, it is looking to shrug off al Qaeda, and it has little interest in the greater international jihad. Past statements by senior Taliban and al Qaeda leaders prove that is false. As should this Taliban endorsement of the Al Fallujah Forum, one of the top forums on the Internet used to promote jihadist propaganda. The translation below is from Flashpoint Partners:

"We also demand from the administrator brothers on it [Fallujah] and the administrators of the other jihadist networks to support the Islamic Emirate and assist it in carrying out its media mission with all of that which is possible, and we demand them to unite their efforts and direct all of their media efficiencies to counter the international Kufr."
