The Department of Justice announced on June 29 that Abdirahman Sheik Mohamud pleaded guilty nearly two years ago to training with and fighting for Al Nusrah Front in Syria. Al Nusrah “instructed” Mohamud “to return to the US and commit an act of terrorism.” He admittedly planned to kill American “military officers or other government employees or people in uniform.”
Top al Qaeda ideologue Abu Yahya al Libi has released a new tape imploring Muslims to wage jihad on behalf of Aafia Siddiqui. It is the second such tape released by al Qaeda in recent months.
Aafia Siddiqui, dubbed “Lady al Qaeda” in the press, was sentenced to 86 years in prison on Thursday. Siddiqui was part of 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed’s network and participated in plotting against the US Homeland.
