Uzbeks, Germans reported killed in Pakistan airstrikes

Unconfirmed reports indicate that 33 Uzbeks and three Germans are among those killed in Pakistani airstrikes in North Waziristan.


The military killed more than 20 people in a series of airstrikes in the Mir Ali and Datta Khel areas of North Waziristan. A suicide bomber killed 22 people in an attack in Mastung in Baluchistan. Four people were killed in separate attacks on polio vaccination teams in Karachi and Mansehra.

The Taliban killed 20 Frontier Corps personnel and wounded 30 more in a suicide attack that targeted a military convoy in Bannu. Eight people were killed in an explosion at a bazaar near Army General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
