3 Egyptians killed in recent Predator strike in North Waziristan

Ahmed Omar Abdul Rahman, the son of the Blind Sheikh, may have been killed in the Oct. 14 strike in a village under the control of the Haqqani Network. Egyptians have been killed in the village in the past.

Blind Sheikh's son killed in US airstrike in Afghanistan

Ahmed Omar Abdul Rahman, the son of the spiritual leader of the Egyptian Islamic Group, was killed today, according to the terror group.

The Egyptian Islamic Group announced that Ahmed Omar Abdul Rahman was killed in a US airstrike while "on the frontlines in Afghanistan." Ahmed is the son of Sheikh Omar Abdul Rahman, or the Blind Sheikh, who is currently serving a life sentence in a US federal prison for his role in 1993 bombing at the World Trade Center.

Zawahiri's brother-in-law killed in Afghanistan

Osama Hassan was a member of the Egyptian Islamic Group and may have played a role in getting that group's external faction to merge with al Qaeda in 2006.
