The Global Islamic Media Front released "The Caravans of Martyrs on the Soil of Somalia," which is the biographies of five Somali Islamic Courts "martyrs." al Qaeda in Iraq issued a statement denying the capture of Abu Omar al-Baghdadi.
Mohammed Jamal Khalifa, Osama bin Laden's brother in law, was tracked by the US, and killed a week after the US Interpol office forwarded the warning to intelligence agencies. We noted Khalifa was very likely killed by Task Force 145 the day the news broke.

al Qaeda in Saudi Arabian released the jihadi propaganda monthly "Voice of Jihad", where it calls for the attack on oil infrastructure world wide. An aide to al Qaeda in Iraq leader Abu Ayyub al-Masri was captured in Mahmoudiya, south of Baghdad.

Fazul Abdullah Mohammed, al Qaeda's East Africa operations chief who fled Somalia after the fall of the Islamic Courts, is believed to be hiding in Madagascar. Mohammed Jamal Khalifa, Osama bin Laden's brother-in-law and al Qaeda financier, was killed by Task Force 145 in Madagascar last week, and his laptop was seized, perhaps providing the link to Fazul.

Ayman Al Zawahri released a video to "mock Bush's plan." The video appears timed to coincide with the State of the Union address. He reminds the American people of past offers of security by reaching an "understanding" with Muslims, and warns that if they continue to follow the policies of Bush and his administration, then peace is impossible.
Abu Musab Abdul Wadud, the Emir of GSPC in Algeria, issued a videotape, which included a pledge of "obedience of his soldiers" to Osama bin Laden. Abu Yahya al-Libi also issued a tape on the spread of Shia power in the Gulf and accused the Saudis of protecting the Shia.
In his latest tape called "Set Out and Support Your Brothers in Somalia," Zawahiri calls for Muslims "in Yemen, the Arab Peninsula, Egypt, North Africa and Sudan" to "use ambushes and mines, and raids and suicidal attacks until you rend and eat your prey as the lion does with his prey." Ayman al-Zawahiri is due to release a videotape, which will be produced by As Sahad. The video is said to focus onn the "truth about the fight between Islam and unbelievers."
al Qaeda is actively seeking technology and material for a nuclear attack against the West. al Qaeda has threatened to topple the Lebanese government and attack Australian troops in Afghanistan. Abu Nasir al-Qahtani, one of the "Bagram Four" escapees, was captured in Khost. Qahtani operated from North Waziristan.

CNN reports Muhsin Musa Matwalli Atwah, a wanted al Qaeda leader involved in the Kenya and Tanzania attacks in 1998, has been confirmed killed. This is 'old news' as we reported Atwah as being killed on April 13 during a Pakistani airstrike in North Waziristan. Most likely remains were recently found that allowed the DNA testing to confirm the identity of Atwah, prompting his removal from the FBI's most wanted list.

Abu Doha trained a 'terror generation,' established cells and networks across the world, and " turned Finsbury Park mosque into his operational headquarters." An Islamist website called for the destruction of selected German websites "[insulting] the God of glory and call Him the God of swine."
al Qaeda in Iraq claims the tape by Abu Osama al-Mujahid is a fake. A mole helped the Canadian government foil the al Qaeda plot to bomb buildings in downtown Toronto.
