pmi_weblogo.gif In the past I mentioned the creation of a new non-profit news organization, Public Multimedia Inc. (PMI) was underway. Yow can read more about PMI at out new website. PMI has been progressing, and we are proud to announce we've embedded two reporters in Iraq: Gene Blanton and Daveed Gartenstein-Ross.

Gene Blanton is a former Marine and now entrepreneur, who is embedding in Habbaniyah to witness and report on the situation in Western Iraq and at the Multi-National Force-West Training Center. He is writing a book Semper Fi Leadership: From the Corp to the Corporation, and has been published at the CEO IQ, Minority Business News, and American Thinker. Gene embedded in Anbar province, Iraq with the USMC in September and October of 2005.

Daveed Gartenstein-Ross is a senior fellow at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, who will be reporting on the military, security and political situation from Baghdad. He is the author of My Year Inside Radical Islam. His writing has been published in Middle Eastern Quarterly, Reader's Digest, Commentary, The Wall Street Journal Europe, The Weekly Standard, The Washington TImes, and The Dallas Morning News.
