We have raised over $1,100 for SGT Levi’s squad serving in Iraq. The main items being purchased are Oakley sunglasses for each soldier (Cheryl informs me we worked out a price much lower than the one advertised on the Oakley website). The good news is the glasses chosen meet many of the Army’s safety standards for eyewear. Hopefully we can convince Levi to send a photograph of the squad with their new eyewear. The remainder is being used to purchase AT&T calling cards. There are some other items that will be purchased such as fans, magazines and other various items Levi mentioned.
